Please note that if the device is already connected to the app and can be controlled, this process is not required.
Calibration process:
1. Turn off the main system and wait for 20 minutes (or make sure the system has been off for more than 20 minutes)
2. Unplug the device, place it into the vent, and connect it back to the power. If you have already installed the device in the vent, simply unplug the device, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back. Wait until you see the solid blue light.
3. Make sure you set the device to Auto or eco mode on your app.
4. Turn the HVAC on. The device will start a few minutes after the system starts. And it will go through a learning process for better syncing, optimization of its operation, and calculating the room temperature in Auto mode. This stage may take up to 24-48 hours (a few HVAC cycles), depending on how your HVAC operates and how frequently it is turned on/off.
5. Please contact us if the device did not start after 10 minutes.
Please also note that the device will eventually sync with the HVAC even without the calibration process, but it is recommended to accelerate the syncing process. Also, every time your main system mode is changed from heating to cooling (between seasons), the device will need some time to adjust to the new status.
