Please kindly note that the device is compatible (not integrated) with Nest. The device will sync its operation with all types of thermostats and HVAC systems including Nest.
Unfortunately, although we had a plan to roll out Nest direct integration in , we were unable to due to the Nest new integration requirements that require us to do a thorough Security audit on our platform which will take months to complete. However, our current firmware provides a seamless setup experience which by means of machine learning (some call it Ai) they can properly detect the status of the HVAC system (On, Off, Standby or Blowing) on all of the thermostats, including Nest.
If you have a Nest thermostat, During the setup, simply choose “other thermostat” and continue with the process.
After the setup is done, drop it in the vent when the main system is not working, and then it will start working on the next HVAC cycle
Please also note that it takes a few HVAC cycles for the device to learn the behavior of the main system and get 100% sync with your HVAC. Also, every time your main system mode is changed from heating to cooling (between seasons), the device will need some time to adjust to the new status.
