It is very important for the device to work in sync with the main system. Meaning only works when the main system (either on heating or cooling) works.
If the device runs when the main system is off it will boost the unconditioned air into the room and this will make the room even colder in the wintertime.
To achieve this, SmartCocoon booster fans are constantly monitoring some parameters in the duct by using its internal sensors and will adjust its operation with the main system.
Please note that for this feature, wifi/ app connectivity is not necessary and the device will be operational immediately after plugging into the power and is installed in the vent.
