As mentioned in our product detail page, our devices, like most other IoT devices, cannot be connected to an ONLY 5G network. It will be fine if you have both 2,4, and 5G being broadcast under the same name, but if you only have a 5G and the 2.4 is disabled, they cannot be connected to your home wifi.

There are two ways to fix this:
1- Log in to your router and enable the 2.4G network if possible.
2- use the device without the app connectivity.


Just so you know, the device can be operational on the basic level without app setup and wifi connection.
The internal algorithm allows the device to work in sync with the main system and boosts the air into the problem areas without an app connection as long as the first time calibration is done.
But if the user would like to benefit from other features such as seeing and adjusting the room temperature, changing the fan RPM, and using the scheduling, the app setup is required.
