To add the device to the SmartCocoon app, you must first see a blinking blue LED. The blinking blue LED indicates that the device is in pairing mode and ready to be connected.
If the blue LED is not blinking, you will need to reset the device to place it back into pairing mode before attempting to add it to the app.
To reset your device so it can be added to the SmartCocoon app, please follow these steps:
Unplug the device and wait 30 seconds.
Plug the device back in and wait another 10 seconds. At this point, you may see a solid blue or red LED, along with a solid green LED.
Press and hold the reset button for approximately 4 seconds. As soon as all the LEDs turn on, release the button immediately.
Note: The reset button is the red button located on the top of the device. You will need a pointed object, such as a pen or pin, to press it.
Still Having Trouble?
If you have already tried resetting the device and are still experiencing issues, we kindly ask that you send us a short video of the reset process so we can investigate the issue and, if necessary, arrange a replacement.
Please record the following steps:
Unplug the device and wait 30 seconds.
Plug the device back in and wait another 10 seconds.
Start recording the video.
Press and hold the reset button until all the LEDs turn on, then release the button immediately.
Once we receive the video, we'll be able to determine the cause of the issue and either help resolve it or arrange a replacement device if needed.
