Please note that the device will work both for cooling and heating.
But it cannot work simultaneously in heating and cooling mode and will not be triggered when the central system changes from heating to cooling several times a day. And when the season changes, the device needs some time to adjust to the new mode.
For example, when the central system changes from cooling to heating (or heating to cooling), the device will not be triggered for the first few cycles of the heating (cooling).
But it will get synced again eventually and will continue working in the new mode.
The calibration process must be repeated if the user wants to accelerate this process and get the device synced with the new mode immediately.
Calibration process:
Turn off the central system and wait for 20 minutes (or make sure the system has been off for more than 20 minutes)
Unplug the device, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. wait until you see the solid blue light (if you have already set up the device on the app and the fan is connected to wifi). Make sure you put the device on Auto or eco mode.
Turn the HVAC on. The device will start roughly 2 minutes after the system starts. If it did not start, please contact us.
