It is fine if you have both frequencies, 2.4 and 5 G, under the same name. The app can distinguish between them and will choose the proper one to connect the device to.

If the 2.4G is completely disabled, there will be an issue. In those cases, we recommend that you log in to your router and enable your 2.4G Network.
