Both SmartCocoon and Ecobee sensors are great tools for managing your home's comfort, they just work a little differently, and they actually complement each other really well!

Ecobee sensors do a great job at monitoring temperature throughout your home, and the good news is that your SmartCocoon fan will work with them just fine. However, SmartCocoon sensors take things a step further by communicating directly with the booster fan, giving you more precise room-level control. For example, if your SmartCocoon app is set to 22°C and your Ecobee is set to 20°C, the fan will stop once your room reaches 22°C, even if your HVAC is still running.

On top of that, SmartCocoon sensors also track humidity, humidex (how the room actually feels, factoring in humidity), and send humidity alerts when levels get too high or too low, which is especially useful during humid summers, dry winters, or in spaces like nurseries, pet rooms, or for anyone with health sensitivities.

So while they may seem similar at first glance, the Ecobee and SmartCocoon sensors serve different purposes and work best when used together for a more complete and comfortable home environment. For more details, please refer to the attached document.
